WILL GOD SAVE ALL, OR ONLY SOME?
“Faithful is the saying and worthy of all acceptation.
For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the
living God, Who is the Saviour of all men, specially of them that believe.
These things command and teach”
(1 Tim.4:9-11, R.V.). Think of it–the living God is the Saviour of all men! Not the “preserver” of all, as some would have us believe. The Greek word used here is sõtêr. It occurs twenty-four times in the New Testament and is correctly translated “Saviour” every time. See Luke 1:47; 2:11; John 4:42; Acts 5:31; 13:23; Ephesians 5:23; Philippians 3:20; 1 Timothy 1:1; 2:3; 4:10; 2 Timothy 1:10; Titus 1:3,4; 2:10, 13; 3:4,6; 2 Peter 1:1, 11; 2:20; 3:2, 18; 1 John 4:14; Jude 25. Nor does the text say, God is the “provider” of salvation for all. This would not make Him the Saviour of all. He is only the Saviour of those He actually saves. In order to be the Saviour of all, He will save all. THE LIVING GOD IS THE SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN. Such a fact should fill the hardest heart with joy and cause continual thanksgiving to God for His power, wisdom, love, grace and righteousness. Knowing how difficult it would be for man to believe this plain statement, God offers man encouragement by assuring him that it is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. It is faithful to God, faithful to His Son, faithful to His Word, and faithful to the desire of all who have had the love of God poured into their hearts by the Holy Spirit. It is hard to understand why so many should condemn it as unfaithful and worthy of all rejection, when God has so plainly declared it to be a faithful saying worthy of all acceptation. Man's need for salvation is desperate. He is sinful, dying and helpless to save himself (Rom.1:18-3:25). To save man and make out of him a creature unto his own praise will indeed glorify God and His Son, Jesus christ. I. HOW WILL GOD SAVE ALL MANKIND?
Both the means and the manner whereby this Salvation is accomplished are clearly revealed in the Scriptures. “This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time” (1 Tim.2:3-6, AV.). “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST be saved” (Acts 4:12).
There is no salvation for anyone at any time except through Jesus Christ and His saving work. It is only through His death, burial, and resurrection life that all will be saved. There will be no failure here. He was manifested to put away sin and to destroy the works of the Devil (Heb.9:26; 1 Jn.3:8). He will not stop until He has accomplished these ends. In the light of the facts set forth in the scriptures, how foolish the statement that if all are to be saved Jesus Christ need never have died. If He had not died for the sins of the world, no one could be saved. But since He has died and now lives again ALL will BE SAVED. II. WHEN WILL GOD SAVE ALL?
The Scriptures make it very plain that all are not saved at the same time. “Who gave Himself a ransom for all: the testimony in its own times” (1 Tim.2:6, R.V.) “As in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But each man in his own order” (1 Cor.15:22-24).
At the present time God is saving only those He has chosen and called unto the special salvation of the ages (1 Cor.1:26-30; 1 Tim.6:12). He will use these various ways in bringing about the salvation of the rest (Eph.3:8-12; 2:6-10). Note, please, the text says, “God is the Saviour of all men SPECIALLY (not, EXCLUSIVELY) of them that believe.” Because of this the Apostle Paul wrote, “Therefore I endure all things for the ELECT'S sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory” (literally, 'eonian' or 'age lasting' glory, 2 Tim.2:10). And again he wrote, “But we preach Christ crucified, unto Jews a stumbling-block, and unto Gentiles foolishness; but unto them that ARE CALLED, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.” Election and predestination become most precious portions of God's truth once it is seen that the reason some are elected to a special salvation is that through them the rest may be reached. There is a special salvation for some and a general salvation for the rest later on. Those who believe now will be made like Christ when He returns and will live and reign with Him during the coming eons or ages. They will be delivered from the Second Death. The non-elect will be saved at the end of the ages solely as the result of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ in their behalf. Does this mean a second chance? By no means! Salvation is not a matter of chance, first or second. Had it been left to chance no one would have been saved, now or later (Rom.3:10-12); 1:28-32). Salvation is of God! He assures us that He will save all. Let no one think for a moment that there will not be judgment and condemnation. “The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all the ungodliness and unrighteousness of men” (Rom.1:18). Those who are hard and impenitent of heart treasure up for themselves wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God Who will render to every man ACCORDING TO HIS WORKS. To them that are factious and obey not the truth but obey unrighteousness shall be wrath, indignation, tribulation and anguish. See Rom.2:1-16; Rev.20:11-15; etc. All that the Scriptures ACTUALLY teach about the wrath of God will surely come to pass. The wrath of God is an awful thing and it is not our purpose to minimize it in the least. However too much condemnation and punishment is just as unrighteous as too little. III. WHAT DOES THIS SALVATION INCLUDE?
“For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be MADE ALIVE. Yet each in his own ORDER; Christ the firstfruits: then they that are Christ's at his coming; then the end [ORDER]. The last enemy that shall be abolished is death” (1 Cor.15:20-26).
The making alive in this passage is more than resurrection alone. It is a making alive beyond the power and reach of death as will be seen from the experience of Christ the FIRSTFRUITS, and those who are Christ's at His coming. Resurrection may be only to mortality as in the case of Lazarus, etc. Making alive here is unto incorruption and immortality (1 Tim.6:13-16; 1 Cor.15:50-57).
But someone protests, Will not believing that God is the Saviour of all mankind do away with evangelistic fervor and zeal? It did not affect the Apostle Paul in this manner. On the contrary it increased his fervor and zeal. “For to this end we labor and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all men” (1Tim.4:10; see also 2 Cor.5:13-21). We must ever distinguish between the fact of the salvation of all and the manner in which God brings it to pass. He condescends to work through human instrumentality (Rom.10;11-15; 1 Cor.1:21). Genuine believers will live and work unto this end continually. It is invigorating to know that complete success is assured ultimately.
Again someone may say, Yes, it does seem to be true but it is a dangerous doctrine and should not be taught. God says, “THESE THINGS COMMAND AND TEACH.” Shall we obey God or man? Shall we seek God's pleasure or man's? Those who seek to please man are not slaves of Jesus Christ (Gal.1:10). Shall we who know Him and have had our eyes opened to the glorious triumph of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ sit idly by and let reproach be heaped upon His name without protesting? Think how the teaching of endless punishment slanders God and Jesus Christ, for we know Christ died for all. Does God lack the goodness, the power, the love, the grace to save all? Every attribute of God is slandered by the unscriptural teaching of eternal punishment. God says punishment is age-lasting, man says everlasting. Let us believe God and not man.

A Stranger Pays A Visit
Reports are coming in from the west of Ireland on the recent visit of one calling himself "Kristos". The visit has now apparently ended without further trouble. This may be due to the 97,400 army personnel drafted in from the Curragh army Camp or the large posting of police. All reinforcements were needed as emotions were running high at the end of the week: A woman in her sixties In Belmullet said this "Kristy" character as she called him) should be lynched and one elderly farmer in Aghamore, in the east of the county, mentioned stringing him up from the nearest tree.
Even though Kristos failed to turn up (Delayed talking to some turf cutters and crab fisher men in the Belderrig area) the evening was deemed a glorious success. One of the organisers told me "Lives are being changed here: All everybody wants and prays for now is peace and to get back to what it was like before all this nonsense began" And so say all of us here in the newsroom!
The week had started with a high level of excitement and expectation and it seemed all was running to script when large numbers of patients at Castlebar General Hospital were instantly healed and walked out of emergency and operating Theatres totally whole. Admittedly there were some rumblings of discontent later as over 50 consultants and 152 doctors were put on notice of dismissal. MCC announced the planned sale of 87 trollies used for overflow situations but Local Pharmacies called for a stay on this saying the move was knee jerk and premature. A&E section in Castlebar, when contacted, said it was too early to say if the sale would go ahead at a later date.
The visit to Knock Marian Shrine proved a turning point however. Seems as Kristos approached the Shrine massive meltdown of paintings, one worth over a million Euro, occurred. Resulting damage to roof and ceiling from intense heat was estimated at €3.5M A local, with tears streaming down his face, said he saw statues actually disintegrating before his eyes and the historical Apparition Gable suffered huge structural damage. The choir were singing that beautiful song about Mary being "Queen of Ireland" and they were all struck dumb and some had mental breakdown as he spoke. Kristos spoke very little in fact but His words were full of authority as he said:--"Come out of her my people ...Flee from this pagan worship of the dead" . Nobody I spoke to had any idea what he was referring to but one theologian said he thought those words were from some place in the bible. The following day two stall holders ( who sold religious parapahernalia at the shrine) .. packed up and actually emigrated to Japan where they immediately joined some Shinto cult.
Later a large crowd of unruly and very disturbed church goers assembled in the nearby car park. Many wondered why the army had not been called in earlier to protect this Holy Shrine: An eerie silence and unusual dread hung over the place. However nobody was quite sure who to lay the blame on but all were agreed heads should roll!
Later that evening there were reports of a small earthquake like eruption in the Achill Island area. A large building (Often referred to as the Prayer House) was totally demolished and fragments of stone littered the island. Christine Gallagher was not there at the time but when contacted in one of her houses abroad she said our Lady had spoken to her privately about this and said it was an omen of an imminent Russian and Chinese invasion of Ireland. The Irish army will be placed on full alert after they get back from Mayo!
Order of Malta have announced that any climbing of Croagh Patrick {Ireland's Holy Mountain} is out of the question at the moment due to the huge landslides in the area overnight. Mayo Co Council later indicated that it could be 10 to 14 years before the pilgrimage could resume. A Westport T.D said in an interview with local radio that this Kristos imposter was obviously a fraud and had done irreparable damage to the tourism industry in Mayo and to the whole economy of the west. He urged Government and religious authorities to get together and prevent any re-occurrence.
Bishop O Lunasa, auxiliary Bishop of Lahardane and Nephin Dioceses , called into question any religious or spiritual significance to these events.. "Anyone who attacks established places of worship or indeed damages places associated with the mother of God will have God himself to answer to .. and no doubt about that" the bishop fumed. Then he continued: "No God that I ever heard of would have his mother demeaned like that" The Bishop was upset and visibly shaken.
On the Wednesday morning a very sad event occurred in the town of Ballinrobe: Kristos was in the area but could hardly be blamed for what happened. It seems two young people, very well liked in the area were being married at a ceremony in the town. Local fire officer explained that during the service the room began gradually to fill with a thick dark smoke. The overpowering pungent smell of sulphur forced the abandonment of the marriage and both men involved, bride (!) and groom, were utterly devastated. Later the weeping bride said "Our whole wedding day was ruined: But our love will never die ..."
"We have enough ******* to contend with this week" the local fire officer expleted "without tasteless pranks like this" Police are investigating the cause of the smoke and are looking for all help from the public.
Most mainstream churches and places of worship stood aloof from this cult visitor. A pastor said they never speak uncharitably of anyone. Kristos on the other hand showed no such reluctance, and when asked about religious establishments in the area simply said: "Let the dead bury their dead" Not a very loving or Godly attitude many thought, for one who claimed to be.....
An inter denomination group {"Christians For Christ"..CFC} sought to exploit the situation and draw Christians closer by all this Kristos excitement. They organised a meeting outside Pontoon in a field and over 220,000 turned up. I spoke to some who attended and they said it was so powerful and so anointed. "The singing and music would melt the coldest heart" one woman told me:The anointing was so strong that on occasions the same chorus was sung over 100 times:
It went on for over five hours and many were visibly touched and some wept.
At the end of the meeting the chant rang out "Great is our Lady of Knock" and this chanting continued long after the official meeting broke up. Towards the end of the meeting a few verses of scripture, carefully chosen so as not to offend any of the different groups present, were actually recited by a girl from the local drama group. You could hear a pin drop in that huge crowd as she recited:

The Holy Father said the real Jesus would never act in so radical a fashion or cause such hurt and confusion. He said it's time all God's children in the world put aside their minor differences: He welcomed the evangelical recent statement that the 500 year protest was over and thanked his Pentecostal and Evangelical friends, Kenneth Copeland and Joel Osteen and Rick Joyner for facilitating the process. S.O.T.W Address
There is an overwhelming and powerful process at work in the world today: This process is irreversible: None can thwart or divert it: Even the most sincere and faith filled prayer can no longer delay it What I refer to is of course the power of the outworking of the Will of God concerning the end days we live in:
In Isaiah 46 God says the following:”I am God and there is none like me: Declaring the end from the beginning ……. My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure” His will and counsel was outlined by various prophets, including Jeremiah and Daniel, indicating an horrific time at the end of this present wicked eon or age. God does not prophesy: When God declares something it already exists the second he declares it (in a realm outside of time) .His words are active, life giving and creative. Humans, used as His spokespersons speak forth what already exists outside of time and call it into manifestation in the time realm. This then is called Prophesy: This is what Daniel and Jeremiah and Ezekiel did:
But God’s word itself is forever fixed (Psalm 119:89)
"Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens"
To try and alter it is like saying “Let’s change the outcome of the Vietnam war!” Crazy! And the countdown to what is called the "The Tribulation" has begun and the run in towards the last 7 years is gaining pace and momentum daily.!
The horror intensifies day by day: We are entering the final days of this “wicked Eon” {Gal 1:4 } I believe this present age is entering its last 3650 days and death pangs are appearing everywhere. The believers are still following on longing for shepherds or leaders to actually lead.. But each new depth of depravity is abhorred and simply discussed ad infinitum by leaders.: Nobody has any clue what to do: Nobody wants to or is enabled to turn the clock back: The matter is urgent.

God does not prophesy: When God declares something it already exists the second he declares it (in a realm outside of time) .His words are active, life giving and creative. Humans, used as His spokespersons speak forth what already exists outside of time and call it into manifestation in the time realm. This then is called Prophesy: This is what Daniel and Jeremiah and Ezekiel did:

To try and alter it is like saying “Let’s change the outcome of the Vietnam war!” Crazy! And the countdown to what is called the "The Tribulation" has begun and the run in towards the last 7 years is gaining pace and momentum daily.!
